Kirill Petrenko & the National Youth Orchestra of Europe

Beethovens 5. Sinfonie

Description Program Artists

The Festspielhaus Baden-Baden and the Berliner Philharmoniker are both devoted to the training of young musicians. It has now become an integral part of the Easter Festival program: the National Youth Orchestra of Germany. The concert under the musical direction of Kirill Petrenko, chief conductor of the Berliner Philharmoniker, is just one of many highlights for the young musicians. During their stay, they will not only be rehearsing Tchaikovsky and Beethoven, but also gaining new inspiration, in small groups and workshops under the expert guidance of the Berliner Philharmoniker, on their way to becoming professional musicians. That’s how great “school” can be!
