Whistleblower Protection Act

On July 2, 2023, the new Whistleblower Protection Act (WPA) came into force on the basis of a European legal framework. It has been in full effect since December 2023. According to the WPA, it must be possible for individuals to report maladministration or violations within companies, for example of provisions concerning penalties and fines, consumer laws, or regulations on product liability and data protection law, discreetly and without sanctions through a whistleblower system created for this purpose. According to the law, whistleblowers may not be admonished, dismissed, transferred, or penalized in any other way on the basis of their report.

The BDKV Bundesverband der Konzert- und Veranstaltungswirtschaft e.V. (Federal Association of the Concert and Event Industry) in cooperation with LegalTegrity GmbH act as the so-called "internal reporting point" of the Festspielhaus Baden-Baden within the meaning of the WPA. If you would like to make a report within the meaning of the WPA, please follow this link: Whistle Report (whistle-report.com). Further information can be found on the BDKV website.
