Christian Löffler

In the past few years, Christian Löffler has completed a journey that almost every musician would wish for. From the indie clubs in Berlin's basements and backyards, it has reached as far as the Philharmonie on Herbert-von-Karajan[1]Straße. In the meantime, however, Löffler and the Detect Ensemble have also thrilled audiences at Berlin's Philharmonie and London's Barbican Center. Both electro and classical music fans flock to the concerts, because here the turntable meets Bach and Beethoven. Christian Löffler, who never learned to play an instrument or to read music, shows how directly music can seduce and touch through the centuries to the present day.
