A concert with the brass section of the Berliner Philharmoniker is always something special. On the one hand, the musicians on the trumpet, horn and trombone have a reputation for being the loudest band in the orchestra - and often also the funniest. On the other hand, the brass is entrusted with the funeral marches. Bruckner's brass movements sound downright mystical. Then it is good to finish with Dvorak's witty Slavonic dances.
