Museum Frieder Burda

The interplay of visual axes from nature to art exerts a very special fascination in the Museum Frieder Burda, which opened in 2004: the light-filled, snow-white building by star architect Richard Meier received the New York Chapter Design Award. The Frieder Burda Collection comprises around 1,000 paintings and sculptures, primarily of classical modern and contemporary art. About three temporary exhibitions can be seen every year.
