Giselle

National Ballet of Ukraine

  • for everyone from  |

Giselle is a ballet classic that has been touching audiences for nearly two centuries. A young peasant woman falls in love with a nobleman who hides his true origin. She is shattered by this deception, but even after her death, her love overcomes hatred and revenge. The National Ballet of Ukraine tells this story with technical brilliance and a poetic light touch – and Adolphe Adam's melodies resonate in the ear long after the curtain has fallen.
