Parking

The underground car park at the Festspielhaus has a limited number of parking spaces, which can soon be fully occupied on event days. In the case of heavy traffic and parallel events in Baden-Baden, there may also be considerable waiting times; we recommend arriving early.

There are further parking facilities in the vicinity (between five and fifteen minutes' walk). From there, you can reach the Festspielhaus by foot or comfortably by bus. The Wagener Galerie and Beethovenstraße car parks are the closest to the Festspielhaus.

To avoid possible traffic congestion during departure, we recommend that you round out your evening at the Festspielhaus with a meal.

The car park at the Festspielhaus is a public car park operated by Stadtwerke Baden-Baden. Please understand that if it is particularly busy, we cannot guarantee parking.

In the Festspielhaus parking garage, digital parking is usually possible with the EasyPark app. It is important to activate the license plate recognition in the app (via "CameraPark" – after you have recorded your license plate) in order to register your car at the entrance.

On days of classical events, you can take advantage of fixed rate parking and purchase exit tickets at the Festspielhaus. In this case, please deactivate the license plate recognition in your EasyPark app. This prevents double billing.

Please note that we do not offer fixed rate parking for entertainment events, matinees, and concerts where you are seated directly on our stage. You can avoid waiting times at the ticket machines by using the EasyPark app. Thanks to license plate recognition, the payment process can be conveniently done digitally – without having to queue at the ticket machine.
