Daniel Hope & Friends
Around the World in 80 Minutes
A musical expedition that spans continents, connects styles, and bridges eras in just 80 minutes: imaginative programs like these are typical of Daniel Hope. The globally acclaimed violinist grew up among the world's musical elite – his mother was the assistant of Yehudi Menuhin, who later became his mentor. After early successes on stage, Hope developed into an accomplished communicator who designs his programs with a dramatic arc, allowing the audience to dive deeper into the works with his commentary. At his side: pianist Jacques Ammon, bandoneon soloist Omar Massa, jazz guitarist Joscho Stephan, and bassist Stéphane Logerot – musicians with their own unique style who bring together a wide variety of traditions.
