Beethoven's Ninth

Budapest Festival Orchestra

Presale

for everyone from 20.10.26 | 9 am

Beethoven's Ninth with the Budapest Festival Orchestra – an ensemble that approaches music from the vocal line and the breath. This fits perfectly with a symphony that includes a final chorus and vocal quartet, where Beethoven used Schiller's words, in this way uniting two worlds, literature and music. Unification is the keyword of the whole work: all people become brothers, today we would say "siblings." Humanity as a family? Not only in the holiday season is this a bold and magnificent idea.
