Y. Nézet-Séguin: Chamber music I

It was a memorable evening when Yannick Nézet- Séguin performed Schubert's "Winterreise" with Joyce DiDonato in the summer of 2021. The idea of presenting the Canadian conductor as a pianist as part of the Summer Festival - in each case with an additional soloist - continues with the Italian pianist Beatrice Rana. Together they will perform piano music for four hands, all classics of the repertoire: Ravel's magnificent Musical Fairy Tales, Schumann's Oriental Dream Journeys, Brahms' famous Waltzes and Schubert's trendsetting F minor Fantasy from the last year of the composer's life.
