Since his debut album call it [em], the piano trio has been a central part of Michael Wollny's musical universe. Wollny's trio partner in crime from the very beginning and still today: drummer Eric Schaefer, with whom he has been exploring the art of musical hand-to-hand combat and the communicative interplay of action and reaction for almost two decades.
