Blechschaden

Carnival – Fasching – Fun

Description Program Artists

They have been around for thirty years: Blechschaden, the brass combo of the Münchner Philharmoniker. The ensemble’s repertoire ranges from classical music to pop, rock, and traditional brass music. They draw inspiration from the Bavarian Kapellmusik tradition, but their influences extend beyond the land of lederhosen and beer steins. At the Festspielhaus, the artists will be presenting buoyant carnival music – the perfect sounds for the “fifth season.”
