How do individual voices come together to create a cohesive band sound? In mini-big-band or combo settings, we’ll focus on ensemble playing: entries, phrasing, dynamics, timing, and tonal balance within the section. We listen closely, respond to one another, and connect the details to form the bigger picture.

Basic music reading skills are required; prior experience in ensemble playing is a plus
