IM.PULS Concert

Free admission without a ticket

How do young people with a passion for music most enjoy expressing their creativity on stage? What kind of concert do they envision—and how do they best prepare for it? With IM.PULS, the Festspielhaus, supported by the T. von Zastrow Foundation, brings students together with professionals. Over the course of a school year, they develop ideas and test their effectiveness on stage. The young participants take the lead—the professionals advise and coach. This year, the focus is on singing for the first time, featuring students from the Philharmonic Choir at Helmholtz-Gymnasium Karlsruhe: a cappella, pure voice, without instruments. The atmosphere of the IM.PULS concerts is unique every year, and admission to the Festspielhaus is free. Join us in discovering what these young voices will bring to the grand stage, with support from the Leipzig-based Calmus Ensemble.
