Bundesjugendballett

In "Parzival – Episoden und Echo" or "Tod in Venedig" he had made an impression: Edvin Revazov, first soloist of the Hamburg Ballet. The Ukrainian dancer and choreographer received the inaugural John Neumeier Prize for Choreography in 2023, funded by the Hapag-Lloyd Foundation, and will now, together with the Bundesjugendballett, present his new choreography. Beforehand, the young company will look back at the past of their American mentor. With "Sybil Dances" they recall John Neumeier's first engagement (1960-1962) in Sybil Shearer's company. Thus, the future is celebrated and history is honored: it is the deep current of tradition that carries the dancers of the Bundesballett.
