Summercocktails on Copacabana
Hailing from France, the Quatuor Ebène is well-known for its splendid programs. It is widely considered one of the best young quartets around today, and in spite (or because?) of this, is capable of instantly transforming itself into a jazz band – or in this case, a lively beach combo. Together with renowned jazz singer Stacey Kent and saxophonist Jim Tomlinson, we’ll be hearing evergreen songs by Astor Piazzolla, Tom Jobim, and Charlie Chaplin as well as South American-inspired arrangements of Michael Jackson’s music. So without further ado: Cheers! Or why not straight away in Brazilian – saúde!
Performance ends at approximately 7:30 P.M.
