Simon Trpčeski

  • Sun26February11:00 H

Is talent everything? Unfortunately not. It shouldn’t come as any surprise that the people winning the competitions are mostly Russians, Central Europeans, and Asians. The young musician’s cultural environment, the home they grow up in, the college they attend, the right people helping them at the right time, the prejudices of the jury, and last but not least, their country all play a part in ensuring they don’t wind up as a mere talent and nothing more. Knowing all this, we can only imagine how outstanding a Macedonian’s talent must be when he is talked about beyond the confines of his own country. In this case, it was pure ability that had the say – no piano lover today can ignore Trpčeski. We have been watching this artist for a long time and are very happy to be presenting him here at last.

Performance ends at approximately 12.10 P.M.
