Rocky Horror Show

“Time warp” – back to the roots

From the very beginning, Rocky Horror Show was like no other musical: shortly after the 1973 premiere at London’s Royal Court Theatre, it became a worldwide phenomenon. Over 20 million people have already experienced the extravagant fairly tale for adults, which has since become the standard by which every piece about trash, sex, and rock’n’roll has been measured. The influence it has had to this day on drag shows, rock bands, theater, and the burlesque scene cannot be overestimated. Sam Buntrock’s celebrated production does full justice to Richard O’Brien’s bizarre masterpiece. It ventures a “time warp” back to the roots – B movies, burlesque, and glam rock – capturing the very essence of the Rocky Horror Show. “Let’s do the time warp again!” The successful new production with its brilliant band and charismatic soloists is back.
