Less is more? Think again!
Sometimes you’ve simply got to go all out: choruses, soloists, a huge orchestra, plus one of the most virtuoso piano concertos ever written. This evening audiences can look forward to a grand and overpowering aesthetic experience, getting to know Rachmaninoff’s The Bells, a masterwork of the symphonic choral repertoire. As a warm-up, the program will be featuring a classic – Rachmaninoff’s Third Piano Concerto combines Russian melodies with German counterpoint together with a level of virtuosity that only the very greatest pianists can lay claim to.
Performance ends at approximately 9:00 P.M.
