Olga Peretyatko-Mariotti & Bamberger Symphoniker

Slavic magic

  • Sun06May18:00 H

Slavic delicacies.
All things eventually come around again: programs showcasing musical jewels from Russia were very popular in the 1970s with audiences and musicians alike, who were captivated by the fiery rhythms and Slavic melodies. After later decades tipped the balance in favor of more sober conceptual fare, this evening we’ll once again be serving up sweet Russian delicacies: with the Bamberger Symphoniker, who often hearken back to their Slavic legacy, together with Russian soprano Olga Peretyatko-Mariotti, who is well-known to Festival Hall audiences. Allow yourself to be carried away!
