Götz Alsmann, Dieter Ilg Trio & Dejan Lazić

Who owns Beethoven?

  • Sat30June20:00 H

The best from Bonn
Who owns Beethoven? Sometimes we’d be tempted to answer: the advertisers, who boost their margarine sales to the tune of his Ode to Joy. Beethoven belongs to no one, but he’s relevant to everybody — a view shared by Dieter Ilg and his jazz trio, who have succeeded splendidly in exploring classical composers from a jazz perspective. An enjoyable and informative evening devoted to the genius from Bonn, moderated by the exceptional Götz Alsmann.
