Away from the stage and evening performances, management workshops are regularly held in the Festspielhaus Baden-Baden, giving the participants new perspectives on topics such as creativity, communication, awareness, leadership, and team building. In the last few months, we have been exploring questions that relate particularly to the area of cultural and music education:

How can knowledge about music be communicated in digital space in an entertaining and understandable way? What added value can our workshops and seminars offer digitally?

Most recently, a digital workshop took place on the subject of conducting. The participants had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of musicians and conductors, experiencing together how they interact with one another. How does leadership work here? How do the musicians communicate? How does an ensemble manage to play together without a conductor? Which values play an important role? How can you communicate certain signals through your own appearance and behavior? This learning transfer from the world of classical music to the world of management was the challenge of the workshop.

The success of the first workshops has shown that topics such as conducting, presence, stage fright, and making music together with artists can also be fun digitally and make our participants look forward to more. The workshops provide valuable ideas not only for management activities, but also for future live experiences at the Festspielhaus Baden-Baden. And thus plenty of reason to look to the future here with optimism.
