Festspielhaus Baden-Baden announces the cancellation of its public events for the month of May due to the current situation in the Corona pandemic. The current ordinance of Baden-Württemberg initially prohibits cultural events until May 16, 2021. Accordingly, the planned residency of the Berliner Philharmoniker from May 6–9, 2021 and the 2021 Whitsun Festiva (May 13-24) in Baden-Baden will also not be able to take place. Even if the current state ordinance is limited until May 16, 2021, festival operations require a certain amount of lead time and, along with it, the corresponding capacities in hotels and restaurants in order to be able to raise the curtain again.

A third digital HAUSFESTSPIEL is to take the place of the public events. From May 13 to 16, the SWR Symphony Orchestra and guest soloists will perform music on the Festspielhaus stage. The exact program of the free live streams will be announced in a few days.

Our Ticketing Service Center will be happy to help ticket holders with all questions relating to ticket matters. You can reach it by phone Monday to Friday from 9.00 am to 5:00 pm. E-mail: info@festspielhaus.de
