Violinist Daniel Hope is considered the modern torchbearer of Yehudi Menuhin’s legacy. He will interpret the Violin Concerto No. 2 by Sergei Prokofiev. Following the intermission, we will hear the powerful Seventh Symphony by Dmitri Shostakovich – the “Leningrad.”
