A program filled with masterpieces of German Romanticism in this Friends of the Festival Hall Concert: Weber’s Euryanthe and Schumann’s Manfred overtures had a significant influence on Wagner. They will be joined by two symphonies whose lively and spirited character is reflected in their nicknames: Schumann’s “Rhenish” and “Spring” symphonies.
