Members of the Berliner Philharmoniker

Music by Schubert, Mozart and Puccini

Description Program Artists

Other musicians from the Berliner Philharmoniker will be offering a musical brunch on the internet on Easter Monday, April 5 at 11 am. The concert, broadcast live from the Festspielhaus, will feature works by Schubert and Mozart as well as by Tchaikovsky and Puccini, two other great melodic inventors. Puccini's Crisantemi has already been heard on the Festspielhaus stage in a different form, in 2015 in the opera Manon Lescaut – Puccini revived the beautiful chamber music theme for Manon's death scene.

Clarinetist Wenzel Fuchs, violinist Shanshan Yao, violist Kyoungmin Park, and cellist Ludwig Quandt will be joining the First Concertmaster of the Berliner Philharmoniker, Daishin Kashimoto, for the performance and then holding a conversation with moderator Jasmin Bachmann and the audience via chat.
