Films would be nothing without film music. Of course it is possible to deny oneself dessert at dinner time, but the question is – is that what we really want? Exactly! This evening is dedicated entirely to film music – an artform centred around just two things: suspense and glamour. How does music succeed in making blood run cold? How does it make it boil? When the ‘wow’ effect takes over it quickly becomes apparent  – just as it is easy to dine well with a table filled only with desserts …. film music is fantastic, even without the film !
