“Love. Hope. Fate”. Behind this title is hidden an entire world of musical impressions. Soprano and Festspielhaus Isolde of 2007, Nina Stemme and her musical partners have put together a musical programme which blends many short musical works with others. Of course by “short works” we certainly don’t mean flashes in the pan! They are profound genre images finely honed on one or two emotions. “Valse Triste” and Schubert’s “Death and the Maiden” are of course two such examples. Those who yearn for a novel after a “short story” will also have their wishes fulfilled here - the concert will close with Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony.
