To make this production possible took years of planning – all six Brandenburg Concerti by Bach are, quite simply, pure bliss. Bliss for music lovers especially, who are able to daydream about this music which is simply a joy to listen to. Rarely does Bach music sound so melodious, relaxed and utterly inspired. However, experts aren’t sure whether they should marvel at the compositional masterpiece or admire its virtuosic realisation. One thing is certain though – the Berlin Academy for Early Music is unrivalled in the reproduction of this marvellous creation.
