Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra Music Festival
The facets of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra ensembles
Composer: ---
Thomas Quasthoff (Bild: Harald Hoffmann)
Welcome to the great music festival in the Festspielhaus Baden-Baden! Here we will present the many facets of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra where renowned ensembles - comprising members of the orchestra - will take to the stage with an extraordinary programme. The performances will range from deep and profound to lively and exhilarating. At the conclusion – after the performances by the 12 cellists join with winds and brass to invite to music and dancing, clapping along is most definitely allowed! The hosted, open-ended evening will consist of two intervals, a break with the standard two-part concert form. The Berlin crew certainly aren’t short of ideas – and here at the Festspielhaus Baden-Baden we are happy to offer our stage to fulfil them!
